Saturday, September 27 It has been quite a hard time since one of our faculty (Mr. Davis) passed away in Thursday evening. He was both my history teacher and my advisor. He had poured into us showers of history knowledge. It just happened so quickly, and someone close to you is gone.
Today is kind of interesting. In the afternoon, three of us went to the Supercut for haircut. I did not get one actually, since both of them looked terrible after cut. So we went to Pizza Hut for dinner, and when we tried to walk back to the school, we got lost. It was so dark and scary and we felt like mad. We trailed back to the original route and finally found the school. What a nightmare.
Thursday, September 25 A bit more free time today so updated this site. Last night while I was sitting still staring at the computer without any ideas for my personal essay, a loud alarm went on. All of us had to proceed to the field. Stupid fire alarm trial. It made me sign up for late nights again.
Tuesday, September 23 "The more we learn, the more we realize, how little we know." I went to find Mr. Mooney, my science teacher, during study hall in the science building. He was not there. It was me alone in the whole building. At first, I was really startled, not sure if I should go in cause no lights were on. When I open the door and walked in slowly, something detected my footsteps and turned on all the lights. It was so scary, yet interesting. I wonder when they turned themselves off. Haha..
Monday, September 22 I hate Mondays. And even Sunday, cause we have to facilitate all the blocks in Monday. Anyway very busy day and boring enough. History bibliography will most likely kill me. A lot of things to do tonight: English family bonding essay, 30 math problems, science acceleration graphs..oh my god. Better commence work now.
Saturday, September 20 So today is the long-waited weekend. Nothing much happened, except the French test this morning. And basically hanged out with friends at night in the jig. Looking forward to tomorrow's Super Sunday event.
Thursday, September 18 Found an interesting question in SAT II Chinese practice quiz. I doubt that Americans know it.
Wednesday, September 17 LOVE starts with a SMILE , grows with a KISS , and ends with a TEAR.
DON'T cry over anyone who won't cry over you.
Good FRIENDS are hard to find, harder to leave, and impossible to forget.
You can only go as far as you push.
ACTIONS speak louder than words.
The HARDEST thing to do is watch the one you love, love somebody else.
DON'T let the past hold you back, you're missing the good stuff.
LIFE'S SHORT. If you don't look around once in a while you might miss it.
A BEST FRIEND is like a four leaf clover, HARD TO FIND and LUCKY TO HAVE.
Some people make the world SPECIAL just by being in it.
BEST FRIENDS are the siblings God forgot to give us.
When it HURTS to look back, and you're SCARED to look ahead, you can look beside you and your BEST FRIEND will be there.
TRUE FRIENDSHIP "NEVER" ENDS. Friends are FOREVER.
Good friends are like STARS You don't always see them, but you know they are ALWAYS THERE.
DON'T frown. You never know who is falling in love with your smile.
What do you do when the only person who can make you stop crying is the person who made you cry?
Nobody is perfect until you fall in love with them.
Everything is okay in the end. If it's not okay, then it's not the end.
Most people walk in and out of your life, but only FRIENDS leave footprints in your heart. Send this on to everyone special in your life, even the people who really make you MAD sometimes and to the people whose lives you want to be in!!!
May today there be peace within you. May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. "I believe that friends are quiet angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly."
Monday, September 15 Very busy day today. Every block appeared in the schedule. I hate Mondays! Anyway the lessons were kind of bad today, especially history, cause there was a quiz. It was like explain Caste, Daoism, Medicine and Universities. Of course I know a bit about Daoism and medicine, but the other two are dead. Chorus was really fun. We had a group practice today, and every group has only 4 people in it. We basically learnt the basic teniques of singing, like to count 1-40 in one breath. No chorus in Wednesday, Mr. Fifer probably gave that to us to sleep in, cause he said people can't sing well in mornings.
Sunday, September 14 Woke up at 9 something and called my parents. At 11, brunch was served for 2 hours. We basically did nothing in the afternoon, chatting, fooling around. Then at 4 something we ordered Chinese food from Golden Palace again! It cost $25 but tasted great. Anyway study hall will begin soon. Have to go and get ready.
Saturday, September 13 "Some dream of things that are there and ask why; I dream of things that are not there and ask why not." Saturday is a half day here. We had lessons till noon, then free time. No study hall tonight too! And the interneational club organized a Mid-Autumn festival union with chinese food and mooncakes. Not sure if we can see the moon tonight, cause the clouds look thick, to me.
Friday, September 12 Just notice that there is one thing I haven't told you about the dorms. We have 'community baths', which means that, the shower room has NO dividers. Try to imagine people getting naked together taking abath. Because of that, I tried to wake up early last Monday and Tuesday at 5 something to avoid bathing with other people. But then Wednesday changed. I played tennis and had to take abath at 4 cause I sweated too much. So the first time in life taking abath together with other people. It was actually fun! We talked and chatted with no barrier. I think that when people get naked, they normally talk the truth. Anyway, community bath doesn't bother me anymore. Isn't that great?
Thursday, September 11 Super French and super English today. Talked about those silly identities like how you construct them, change them and factors that affects it. After that was math and history. People are like so dum in maths and it is always me answering the questions. Later I shall go for the tennis tryouts, and then sit-down dinner again. Study hall afterwards. Oh yes today is the second anniversary, I mean second memorial year to 911. It really is a hot topic on the radio. Anyway gotta go now. Bye.
Wednesday, September 10 Today is a half day, with chorus, i.s. super, and French. In chorus, the amount of people in it was doubled. All of us except the juniors and seniors had to do an audition, and if we failed, we have to take a cut in the lesson block, which means it becomes a free time! Of course everyone wanted to drop the course, so some sang really badly, like an original a-a-a-a-a they make it as awhhhhhhhhhhhh! Anyway, we did individually. I think I am the few that passed. 'See you on Friday.' said Mr. Fifer. So still have to continue my chorus course. And for French, the students there are all one year smaller than me and have a strong base in it. I am kind of falling behind. Jennifer (the teacher) said that she was very surprised too. She said she might put them in French 12 Honors. Anyway, nothing to do right now. No mood to finish homework. Sigh..
Tuesday, September 9 Took a picture of my dorm. Looks pretty tidy right?
Monday, September 8 I am here guys, and I will always be. So, settled down - kind of - and don't know what to write, simply too much to say. Got everything ready..and today is the general orientation. We get around and know each other..pretty good. My roommate is far more better than good. But, he is a mess. Anyway, I might take some photos during free time to show you all the stuffs. Bye for now.
Tuesday, September 2 Wahahahahahahahahahahahahahahha - a very long, bitter smile. It is raining outside and my heart is breaking inside. Still haven't close the luggage lid yet, perhaps..lock it tomorrow. And again, today is the last day to sleep on my very comfortable bed before I leave. Depressed again. Just now said my last 'goodbyes'. Miss them a lot, hope to see them soon in Christmas. That's all for my dailys in Hong Kong. Bye everyone! Goodbye! Au revoir!
Monday, September 1 Listening to the radio now. Yes, the contemporary, cool, stylish, industrial-finished car-like radio. Very verbous sentence. Hahaha.. If you don't understand, I just came back from dinner with my dedicated friends. Actually they are terrible. They make me miss them more then missing anybody else before leaving. That is just so sad. Today is the second last day to sleep on my very comfortable bed. Missing everything. Depressed..
