December 28, 2003
Writing dailys these days became more difficult since there is more to consider. Sometimes I find myself composing them instead of writing them; I have to. The audience has changed. More and more people are reading what I write everyday. The purpose has changed. Sometimes it's not to record my thoughts but to share them. People who don't know me that well need explanations. However, the biggest problem is, me, myself, has changed. Things I write become more sketchy and farfetched. As I quoted earlier, "the more we learn, the more we realize, how little we know." Laziness might as well be a problem. Leaving everything till the last minute just makes things worse. Success is support is attitude is hardwork is knowledge is family is friends is love. Okay..I'll stop.

Tuesday-Saturday, December 23-27
Just found out that the specific place we went is Kita Kinabalu, which is a small part of the whole Sabah. Anyway it was fun, lets have a fast rundown. First day was casual - only a simple citytour. Second day went to two extensive islands namely sapi and something I forget for water sports. My family went water diving, not too bad. Had christmas dinner at peppino, an italian restaurant; considering its cheap price and convinient location (in the resort), not too bad again.

Third day played tennis in the morning and went for a cruise tour in the afternoon. Basically, we were in search for the proboscis monkeys and fireflies. I have no interest in the monkey thing so it was quite boring. We did manage to get three fireflies, and was told that they could glow for four months without food before dying. Eventually, we released it back to the wild today.

Forth day drove jetski and raced with my dad and my bro. It was fun. Had bbq dinner along the coast and the weather was awesome - started raining right after we finished our dessert and heading back to our room. Last day, which is today, couldn't believe five days past so quickly, I still haven't learnt the lesson - sat through the morning watching tv again. Anyway, kind of sad to leave the paradise with nice weather and lovely tennis courts. Emm..back to real life.

Had lunch in mi with some friends and shopped a bit afterwards.

Saturday, December 20
Haircut at 11:30 following lunch in 1st peking road, 10th floor, 潮樓. I thought thats a really good name. The food was okay then went to shop in central. Very disgusted to learn that mandarin is broadcasted on mtrs. By the way, troops of mainland people are diluting the asia's world city. They won't dominate us, will they?

Friday, December 19
Arrived around noon and went to en cid for lunch. Bought some silly things in muji and went home. The renovation looks great. Take photos tomorrow morning. Trying to settle down a bit after the 22 hour flight. Tired..

By the way, some darn people called this afternoon and requested me to go to C.W.C, well, I mean C.W.S. No offense. Anyway see you guys soon on Sunday.

Woohoo! Finished science exam this afternoon and completed my english self-assessment just now! It means no english exam tomorrow, and I only have to wait for tuesday's math exam. This afternoon went to McNeil's house for a feed. Not too bad, considering the trouble their four children made. Anyway, two more days to go.

Saturday, December 13
Finally finished french and history. Science tomorrow. Take some rest before returning to the studying mood again. No english exam but portfolio due Monday, then math, and done. Wish me luck.

Monday, December 8
Don't worry. I am still here. Just kind of busy preparing for exam starting on Friday. Thursday is going to be Reading Day, where only freshmen attend class. I will have my french listen which is 15% of the exam which is 25% of my grade. Anyway, that's all for today.

Saturday, December 6
Just heard that the snow we are experiencing now is the small one, and a big blizzard is coming right after it. 36 inches of snow expected. Isn't that amazing?

Friday, December 5
SNOW!! It is snowing now and expected to have 8 inches of snow tomorrow! Wow! Snowball fight soon too! Finished the first part of english portfolio. Revision of my family piece with cover letter. Didn't spend too muche energy on it. But..hope I did well on it.

Wednesday, December 3
First French class after thanksgiving. The teacher told us that she lost our quizzes. Her relatives thought that they were trash paper after thanksgiving dinner. Anyway, view my piece I talked about here.

Tuesday, December 2
Woke up this morning and found 1 inch of snow outside. Quite excited but that's all - I hate wearing thick clothes. Not sure if the snow meant good luck, coz..I got a 4.5 on my English place essay! Really glad but at the same time, feel pressure for the quality of the portfolio which will conduct 25% of our semester grade. Anyway, please read my place piece here.
