Some bad communication occured before dinner time, which caused a slight confusion as to who cooks what. But anyhow, we all had a bit of curry chicken wings (by me) and shrimp (by Derek and Lili). I thought the latter tasted better (probably because we eat curry too often these days). After dinner the three of us watched Doraemon, later joined by Renee. Then we worked a little bit on the puzzling puzzle. We didn't get very far, but it was fun nonetheless.

梁文音 got eliminated today. Very disconcerting.. I also enjoyed 林健輝's performance:

I'm back. Let me briefly recap what happened in the past 5 days.

Thursday - Friday: Woke up around noon. Baked cinnamon bread and invited Lili and Derek over to stuff them with it offer them some. They liked it (of course) a lot very much and asked for more, and I, being ever so generous, obliged. The three of us then HBO-ed till about 6, then decided to do a mini potluck ourselves. They cooked curry chicken while I made black bean pork.

After dinner we decided to play monopoly, during which we also sang k, and invited Renee over around 1am (thats friday then). It continued till 6am, where we disbanded a little bit before heading out at 7am to Whitemarsh Mall. We got to the mall a little bit before 9am. Lili, Derek and I went to starbucks and I tried the gingerbread latte, which tasted quite weird. We also headed to Ikea where I got a new blanket set. Arrived back at home around 3pm. As we were all exhausted, we slept till dinner time. For dinner, Eleen invited us over to uni-one for a late but sumptuous thanksgiving dinner. It was over about midnight, and I was over too.. I slept almost immediately after I got back to my apartment.

Saturday: Woke up late, watched Protege at Lili and Derek's apartment, then at night we cooked boboa milk tea while making our antique world map puzzle purchased on friday morning. Lili also invited her his friends over.

Sunday: Mm. Not much was done besides my laundry.

Today: Rainy, gloomy. Strangely lonely.

November 21, 2007

Woke up early at 8 to attend a court session at 10 this morning. It was supposed to be a short sentencing trial, but it went on and on and on, and in the end I left. For lunch, lili and I had lunch at cheesecake factory. We ordered a pasta (pasta da vinci) and shared two slices of cheesecake: cocoa coffee and original. The coffee one was especially good.

After lunch the two of us went back to court for another case. As for dinner, Eleen drove Amy, Renee, Derek and I to towson to dine with Roger in sushihana. The food was quite good (Derek and I shared an appetizer, two rolls and an ice cream).

Ok, time to sleep. I've been seriously sleep deprived. Good nite.

Happy Birthday Wilson!
Thanksgiving holiday has finally started for me after my tech comm class at night. I'm now free..for a few days.

HKSA gathered late this evening in commons banquet room to watch Yonimo Kimyona Monogatari. I especially liked the last two. :D The first one was too scary. The second one..well I fell asleep. The third one actually has a good lesson; and the forth one was fun to watch. If you do watch it, I recommend that you skip the first one.

Had dinner at Cheesecake Factory for Kevin's belated celebration. It was quite fun. Oh, Bang bang chicken improved. Well, maybe I don't recall its taste that well from a year ago and my anticipation for it over-rode my taste buds' real perception.

Yoga and pets sang this quite well. And yoga is so funny..

HKSA met up in Nolan's tonight to draw out secret santa designees. Who did I draw? Well, I'm not gonna tell you of course. We also played pool, during which 3 pool balls flew off the pool table, 1 by Clifford and 2 by me. It's a great skill to scare your opponents off..

Meanwhile, its a relatively okay weekend. Hopefully I'll utlize my time efficiently.

Upon waking up, I decided to skip stat section today. It's actually the first time I skipped this particular section. Around lunch, I went to Niwana for lunch with Lihan after looking for my statics TA about the lab. Very unacceptably, I also had dinner outside at Chipotle with Derek and Lihan. I need to eat at home more often.

Course registration at 7am later. No free friday next sem.

November 14, 2007   Wreck

Finished my last midterm before thanksgiving today. I can finally feel the load being lifted (slightly) from my shoulders..

During my free time, I came across LSC Diary. Memories. Memories - a force that drive some forward and impede others' growth - are so powerful. I hope I'm not trapped by the past.

November has been quite the wreck for me so far. I mean, just look at my site.. It's so dull. I don't even know why people come here anymore. Maybe my readers are sadists who enjoy reading about my everyday boredom? Hmm.

I need a fuel for life.

Financial accounting midterm today was quite difficult. Almost everyone stayed beyond classtime to finish the test. I hope I did well in it. Meanwhile I'm gonna hang my pen here to catch up on some zzzZZZZs.

Today went to Virginia for korean food + supermarket. The trip was quite enjoyable. I don't recall eating that much in a buffet for awhile. Anyway, I'm really tired now, and I also need to study. Wall. Good nite..

New York Chocolate Cheesecake

This is actually a very old piece of news as Nick made this cheesecake last weekend, and it had already been consumed of course. But it's better late than never, right? It tasted quite good I thought, though the crust was a bit burnt.

I did not do much yesterday (this year's halloween). I don't know..there was no compelling force that drove me to enjoy halloween. I didn't even go trick-or-treat-ing.

Meanwhile some bad, bad news came today. Martina Hingis announced her second retirement in a press conference. And also something ugly surfaced from that press con. To me, whatever happens, she'll always be my admired tennis player whose tactics, skill, and athleticism on-court, and professionalism off-court, simply cannot be surpassed. We will miss you, Martina.

Last month's total visit was 544 (18697-19241). That averages about 17.548 per day. It's a big improvement. In fact, it is the highest total visit in 2007. Thanks for your support.
